We are now supposedly approved to adopt. I say supposedly because our caseworker finished our report on Friday and said he would present it on Monday and that our profile would be posted online by Tuesday or Wednesday. Our Winter Wonderland

Ok so on Tuesday morning it started snowing while we were at work. It was very exciting and very prettty. So of course, I had to take pictures as soon as we got home. I also sang "Winter Wonderland" through many times, much to Aaron's chagrin. When he complained about singing Christmas songs though, I calmly pointed out that "Winter Wonderland" is actually just a winter song and does not mention Christmas at all. ;)

So here is our nice green grass, covered with it's first blankie of snow. May I also point out that this is the very first snow that we have ever had that actually belongs to us!!! YAY!!! If you couldn't tell, we're still pretty darn excited about owning our own house. So anyway, it snowed Tuesday, and by Wednesday morning it was melting.

I have a little bit of a confession to make though. Even though the snow was not as plentiful on Wednesday as it was the day before, it didn't stop me from listening to Christmas carols pretty much all day while at work! YAY!!! (I might also hasten to add that I had my headphones in so as not to annoy my coworkers too much.) :)
